Welcome to my home page, and I hope you find your time here to be thought-provoking, invigorating, and tons of fun. 

I have long believed that if we can dream the impossible dream, and be determined to achieve it, if we never fear failure or what other people think, if we work hard and do what’s right, and if we can always look for the good along the road of life, then we will have greatness within our grasp. I believe this because, as the sands of time fall in the hourglass, I have learned that: we have far more power to control our future than others do to destroy it, that it is not what we were given that is important, but what we do with what we were given, and that it is not where we started in life that matters, but rather where we ended.

I have also learned that…. what is right always triumphs over what is wrong, that kindness always triumphs over hatred, that goodness always triumphs over evil, and that no matter the obstacle, regardless of the challenge, irrespective of the sacrifice, those that never falter and never waiver, that never give in and never give up, are the ones that change the world in which we live. They changed our world because they believed in something, worked for something, and went down swinging for something that was decent, honorable, and just.

And though their history may have been written, our journey has only just begun. We should listen politely to the worries and criticisms of our friends and family, and do our best to put their minds at ease, but then carry on. Listen to our own heart, so that in the end we can say: that we fought the good fight, that we did the best we could with what we had, that we did what is right and that, in some small way, we make a difference. This is the mark of someone who can look back, as the years progress, on a life that has been lived, on a life that had purpose, and on a life that mattered.

My eternal hope is that we all can live that type of life, and again, welcome, and enjoy your visit!
